The following circular has been sent to the members of the League of American Wheelmen by a committee of the Bay City Wheelmen:
SAN FRANCISCO, February 10, 1886.
Dear Sir: There elng now over seventy League members in the state it would be to the interest of all such members, and to bicycling in general, to form a "State Division." In order to further this project, the Bay City Wheelmen have decided to set the ball in motion by calling a meeting of all League of American Wheelmen members in the State for next Thursday evening, February 18th, at 108 Golden Gate avenue, at 8 o'clock sharp. All members are respectfully requested to be present. If you are unable to do so, a letter addressed to the secretary of the Bay City Wheelmen setting forth your views upon this question would be in order. Yours truly,
